SHREVEPORT, La. - The Shreveport Police Department needs the public's help finding a Shreveport woman wanted for attempted murder. An arrest warrant has been issued for Lamya Bailey, 21, for attempted second-degree murder. Police said the shooting happened just after midnight Oct. 14. They learned about it after the victim was dropped off at a local hospital. Officers learned the shooting was connected to a shots fired call in the 1100 block of East Kings Highway. Due to the victim's serious condition, he was transferred to Ochsner LSU Health for further treatment.
