A San Augustine woman is undergoing treatment in a Lufkin hospital for injuries she received in a Tuesday morning chain-reaction crash.
Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant David Hendrey says that 41-year-old Tiffany Payne was traveling eastbound on State Highway 103 near Farm to Market Road 1277 at about 9:00 when she came upon other vehicles stopped for road construction.
Hendrey said Payne’s 2016 Hyundai passenger car slammed into the rear of a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck, which sent it crashing into a 2013 GMC pickup truck.
The other drivers, 64-year-old Randall Lowery and 30-year-old Aaron Harris, both of Huntington, were reportedly not injured.
