Louisiana State Police have announced an arrest of a woman who was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run incident three months ago that left a Vernon Parish woman dead.

The accident occurred shortly before 9:00 on the evening of June 14th in Rapides Parish. State troopers said that 20-year-old Kiley L. Credeur, of Anacoco, lost control of a Jeep that she was driving. The vehicle rolled over and Credeur was thrown out and landed on the highway where she was hit and killed by another vehicle.

Troopers say the driver that hit her didn’t stop.

Following a lengthy investigation, Louisiana State Police announced Friday that they had arrested their suspect, who they identified as 63-year-old Debra Sasser, of Glenmora, Louisiana. Troopers say Sasser has been charged with Hit-and-Run, and at last word she was being held in the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
