A homeless woman from Fort Worth went to jail here in Jasper on Monday evening after police said that she lit a pile of clothing on fire on a bank parking lot. The woman, identified as 50-year-old Donita Lee Hudgins, has been charged with a class C misdemeanor public order crime, specifically Violation of Burn Ban. According to a Jasper Police Department report, at about 6:30pm officers were sent to the DuGood Credit Union at the intersection of Highways 96 and 190 and arrived to find the woman burning the clothes.
