PLANO, Texas. (Gray News) - A Texas woman allegedly called her friends after she killed her ex-husband, according to authorities. Plano Police were called to the scene around 10:30 p.m., Dallas News reported. When officers arrived, they found a man in the home with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Police said after 38-year-old Merridith Nunley shot her husband, she called her friends to tell them that she did it, KDFW reported. The two have children together, but they weren’t home at the time. Nunley was taken into custody and her bond was set at $500,000.
