Where is Joshua Larkin?

Archived as originally published. Information reflects the date of this article.

Newton County Sheriff Robert Burby says his department is continuing to investigate the Thursday, November 17th disappearance of 38-year-old Joshua Ian Larkin and he says that deputies are now looking very closely at the time period just prior to Larkin vanishing. Additionally, the sheriff's department has released two new photos of Larkin. Burby says that deputies want to talk to anyone who spoke to or saw Larkin in the days prior to him being reported as missing. Burby says investigators are trying to trace Larkin's actions and movements in that time period. Larkin was last seen at his mother's home in Kirbyville when he told her that he was going hunting at a location on Private Road 725 in the Call Community. However, the mother said her son never returned. Burby said his deputies found Larkin's vehicle, but a two-day search in that area on Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November loth turned up nothing. If you have any information about the location of Joshua Ian Larkin, you're asked to call the Newton County Sheriff's Department at 409-379-3636. You do not have to give your name.
