A fugitive who was wanted in Angelina County tried to fool Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard on Tuesday, but Havard fooled him right into the Jasper County Jail. According to Havard, 37-year-old Jasper resident Justin Paul Plunk called him and he claimed that he owned some items that had been recently seized during a warrant operation. Havard said he soon discovered that Plunk was wanted on a felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, so he called him back and told him to come to the sheriff’s office so that they discuss the seized items. Plunk showed up and was promptly arrested and placed in the jail where he awaits transport to Angelina County.
