The Sabine Parish Sheriff's Department says a wanted felon has eluded capture after leading deputies in a vehicle pursuit, and then a foot pursuit early Sunday evening. The sheriff's department says 25-year-old Dekedrick D. Lynch, of Zwolle, fled in a car on Highway 6 near Many High School, and then disappeared on foot in a wooded area. According to the sheriff's department Lynch is wanted for the following crimes:
2 counts of Felony Theft
3 counts of Misdemeanor Theft
1 count of felony Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle Upon a Peace Officer
1 count of felony Aggravated Flight from an Officer
1 count of misdemeanor Careless Operation
The department also noted that Lynch is on probation for felony theft charges, indicating that
probation will most likely be revoked.
