On Monday, November 15, 2021, Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office was notified by a homeowner in the 7000 block of Hawks Road that he left for work at approximately 6:00 a.m. and returned home at approximately 4:30 p.m. to find the front door of his residence damaged. The victim indicated that upon entering his residence he discovered a significant amount of personal property missing.
The victim discovered one primitive black powder rifle, one 30-06 rifle, one 30-30 Winchester Rifle, one 12 gauge Mossberg Shot gun, one .22 magnum western style revolver with belt and holster, two handguns, multiple knives, two small fire safes containing personal documents, one Killer Instinct Lethal 405 Crossbow, as well as cash money missing.
