Vidor Police say a bank was robbed shortly after 11:00 Thursday morning. It happened at First State Bank on North Main Street. According to police, a black male wearing a medical mask and a mask over his head indicated to bank employees that he had a weapon, but he never actually displayed one. Police initially said that the suspect headed northbound on Farm to Market Road 105 in a 2000 blue Ford F-150 pickup truck. However, Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll later said that the suspect got into a car and fled westbound.
