UPDATED - Motorcyclist injured in Rayburn Country crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a Thursday afternoon crash in Rayburn Country. It happened shortly after 3:00 on Farm to Market Road 1007, just north of Recreational Road 255. According to Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark, 75-year-old Percy Parsons, of Pineland, was traveling southbound on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he went off the west side of the highway and crashed. Parsons was conscious and speaking to Rayburn First Responders and Allegiance EMS paramedics. It appeared that he suffered a significant arm injury. He was transported by ambulance to Woodland Heights Hospital in Lufkin for treatment.
