Sabine County Sheriff Tom Maddox says his department worked with the San Augustine County Sheriff’s Department to bust a ring of criminal activity which began in September. Maddox says five people are in custody and are accused of crimes in both counties. According to Sheriff Maddox, the five arrested are; Victoria “Tori” Logan, 36, Allen Williams, 26, Hunter Mosley, 23, Angela Mobley, 39, and Justin Denby, unknown age. Maddox said all of them are from the Pineland and Bronson areas. Maddox says deputies have recovered four ATV’s, two trailers, one firearm and a variety of other items – all of which were stolen by the five individuals. Additionally, Maddox says that forfeiture procedures have started to seize a house in the Delta Heights neighborhood of Pineland where several stolen items were found, as well as a vehicle which also contained stolen items. The sheriff says that each person has been charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, and additional charges are pending. Maddox says Williams and Mobley were arrested at the Pineland residence on September 23rd, while Moseley and Logan were arrested in San Augustine on September 28th following a vehicle pursuit during which they rammed a patrol car. There’s no information about the arrest of Denby.
