Woodville Police have released information about a fatal Wednesday afternoon crash. It happened during the noon hour on Highway 69 near the intersection of Highway 287. Captain Jathan Borel said that Richard “Kerry” Winter, 54, of Warren, was driving a Nissan Frontier pickup truck southbound on Highway 69 when he crossed over into the turning lane and hit the side of a northbound Coca-Cola delivery truck. Winter was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the delivery truck was not injured.
