MINDEN, La. – A Webster Parish man died Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash, according to state police. The victim is identified as John Waldron, 70, of Sibley. The crash was reported just before noon on Dorcheat Road north of Grigsby Road. Troopers said Waldron was northbound in his 2013 Ford pickup when he went off the road and hit a tree. Waldron was not wearing a seatbelt. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
