The Sabine County Sheriff’s Department says a Milam man went to jail Thursday on a drug charge.
According to the report, a deputy made a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 87 at Highway 21 and soon learned that the driver, 61-year-old David Bragg, was driving with an invalid license and had previous convictions for the same offense.
The report said the deputy found methamphetamine inside a tool box in the back of the pickup truck.
Bragg was arrested and charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Driving while License Invalid. His bond was set at $10,000.00.
