Officials in Polk County are trying to identify a woman who was killed in a fiery Sunday afternoon wreck on Highway 146. Polk County Today is reporting that witnesses say the driver was in a 2016 Ford Fusion which caught on fire as she was driving. The car then went off the highway, jumped a culvert, rolled multiple times and then struck trees. Firefighters had to deal with both the vehicle fire and the wildfire that it caused. The driver was apparently ejected because her body was found in nearby weeds.
