A Tyler County man has been charged with murder following a weekend shooting in Hardin County which left one man dead and another in very critical condition.
Hardin County Sheriff Mark Davis says John Richard Overstreet, 24, of Warren, is charged with murder after 39-year-old Randy Reed, of Silsbee, was shot to death, and 44-year-old Adam Hall, also of Silsbee, clings to life in a hospital. Sheriff Davis said it occurred Sunday night at Hardin County Park, which is located north of Silsbee.
Davis said witnesses told investigators that an argument involving the three preceded the gunshots.
Overstreet is charged with Murder and Aggravated Assault, and his total combined bond is set at $750,000.00.
