The Texas Department of Public Safety says two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash that occurred early Monday afternoon in a construction zone on Highway 63 West near Recreational Road 255.
The report said a line of cars were moving through the construction area when a Dodge pickup truck, driven by 66-year-old Paul Giblin, of Jasper, hit the rear of a Ford car, driven by Michael Strawther, 55, of Spurger. The Ford car then hit a Ford pickup truck, driven by 34-year-old Keith Adams, of Louisiana.
Strawther and a passenger were taken by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
