Two wanted men were arrested on Monday in north Jasper County. According to Sheriff Chuck Havard it started as an effort to arrest 52-year-old John Christopher Kellum, who was named in a warrant for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. While on scene, Havard said they also found 33-year-old Jonathan Breece Dalton who had two arrest warrants issued by the Jasper Police Department. Havard said at the scene they discovered a low-boy trailer and a 4-wheeler, both of which had altered or destroyed VIN numbers and serial numbers. Havard said both were seized and now an investigation is underway to determine if they’re stolen.
