No serious injuries were reported to have occurred when two vehicles collided on Wednesday afternoon in front of the Lowe's Home Improvement Store on Highway 190 West.
Police and other emergency crews were dispatched to the location shortly after 5:00 when it was reported that the crash had occurred and arrived to find debris scattered all across the westbound lane of the Highway.
What happened is not clear and officers from the Jasper Police Department were at last word still investigating the accident which involved an early model Chevrolet HHR and a 2014 Nissan sedan.
Highway 190 was blocked for some time as workers cleared the wreckage. However, in the meantime, westbound traffic was detoured through the parking lot os the Lowe's Store.
The names of those involved and other information was not available pending the completion of the report and investigation.
