Two Newton County residents arrested in Vernon Parish

Two Newton County residents were arrested in two separate incidents in Vernon Parish in recent days.

Wordrick Williams, 34, of Newton, was arrested and charged View Outward or Inward Through Windshield; Obscuring Prohibited, meaning that something was obscuring his view out of the windshield of the vehicle that he was driving, and also Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Bond was set at $13,061.00.

Amber Nicole Allison, 34, of Burkeville, was arrested and charged with two counts of Cruelty to a Juvenile.

Bond was set at $50,000.00.
