Two Killed in Tyler County Crash

Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark two men were killed in a Friday afternoon collision involving an 18-wheeler in Tyler County. The accident happened shortly before 2:00 on Highway 190, just east of Farm to Market Road 256.

Clark said 65-year-old Raymond Wood, of Bellaire, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck eastbound when he crossed into the westbound lane and struck a semi-trailer being pulled by a 2016 Kenworth truck, driven by David King, 54, of Smithville.

Clark said both vehicles went off the highway, and the big-rig overturned.

Clark said both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
