Two Buna men were arrested on drug charges Wednesday morning.
According to Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard, at about 8:30 he and a deputy responded to a report of loose cattle on Farm to Market Road 2938, and they belonged to a man who had been involved in criminal activity in the past and it was believed that there was drug activity occurring at his house.
Havard said the man gave him permission to enter the house and conduct a search which turned up methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested were Brian Kent Mason, 55, and Marcell Eugene Mason, Jr., 64. Both men were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
