Jasper Police were involved in a brief vehicle pursuit on Monday afternoon which ended with two arrests.
A member of the Southeast Texas Violent Crime Task Force said it began when he spotted a man that he knew had a parole violation warrant. He said the man saw him and began fleeing.
The chase ended on Farm to Market Road 2800 just west of North Main Street. The male driver and a female passenger were both arrested. Their names have not yet been released.
