The Jimmie Davis Bridge is reopened to traffic.
It closed Friday night so that crews the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development could perform an inspection and make some repairs.
The estimated time of completion was by 6 a.m., Monday, but crews managed to wrap up their work Sunday afternoon.
That clears the way for traffic to resume on the bridge between Shreveport and Bossier City that is traveled by more than 26,000 vehicles each day.
