Titus County man accused of murdering wife

COOKVILLE, Texas (KLTV) - A Titus County man is behind bars after being accused of murdering his wife Sunday.

Deputies with the Titus County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 500 block of County Road 3130 in Cookville Sunday, with a report of a possible murder.

There, they found Amy Denmon Allen, 54, dead and arrested her husband, Michael Paul Allen, 52, of Cookeville, who was at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.

Allen was taken to the Titus County Jail where he is held on a charge of murder and a $1,000,000 bond.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation is still ongoing.
