SHREVEPORT, La. - Thousands of SWEPCO customers across the ArkLaTex were without power early Tuesday after blustery storms pushed through the region. While the rain was welcomed, the high winds brought trees down on power lines plunging people in the dark. At 6:30 a.m., more than 3,700 customers were still without service.
