Beaumont Police are calling them “The Three Stooges”, a bumbling and stumbling trio of robbers who hit the Popeyes Fried Chicken on Phelan Boulevard on New Years Eve. Upon entering the store, the first suspect, “Moe”, fell down and then the second one, “Larry”, fell down over “Moe”. The third one, “Curly”, almost fell down, but somehow managed to stay on his feet. Police say the three stooges were armed with handguns as they threatened employees during the crime. They actually managed to leave the store and then fled in a blue vehicle.
