Health officials in Louisiana are now reporting there are 32,050 cases of coronavirus reported in the state. There have been 2,281 deaths reported (66 probable deaths). All of Louisiana's 64 parishes have reported cases.
In Central Louisiana, as of May 12, the cases are:
Allen Parish: 90 cases, 10 deaths
Avoyelles Parish: 76 cases, 8 deaths
Beauregard Parish: 46 cases, 4 deaths
Catahoula Parish: 86 cases, 3 deaths
Concordia Parish: 43 cases, 4 deaths
Evangeline Parish: 68 cases, 1 death
Grant Parish: 18 cases, 1 death
LaSalle Parish: 33 cases
Rapides Parish: 376 cases, 13 deaths
Natchitoches Parish: 100 cases, 9 deaths
Sabine Parish: 19 cases, 1 death
St. Landry: 215 cases, 51 deaths
Vernon Parish: 18 cases, 2 deaths
Winn Parish: 54 cases, 2 deaths
Currently, 1,320 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized. Of those, 146 patients require ventilators.
Presumed recovered as of May 10: 22,608
A person is presumed recovered if:
1) it has been more than 14 days since he/she tested positive and he/she is not currently in the hospital or deceased (when hospital status is known), or
2) it has been more than 21 days since he/she tested positive and he/she is not deceased (when hospital status is unknown).
