Teenagers arrested for drive-by shooting of Polk County residence

LIVINGSTON, Texas (KTRE) - Two 18-year-olds are behind bars after shooting multiple rounds toward a home, according to Sheriff Byron Lyons.

The incident happened on September 7 in the Indian Hills subdivision off of FM 2457. The victim called 911 to report that an unknown vehicle had driven by their home and fired multiple rounds toward it, hitting it, Lyons said.

Detectives began investigating and identified two suspects, Abraham Saenz and Ivan Rangel of Livingston, both 18 years old. They were arrested and charged with deadly conduct/discharge of a firearm, which is a third-degree felony.

Saenz and Rangel were both booked into the Polk County Jail; Lyons said additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
