A teenager is dead following an incident that occurred on Friday afternoon at a convenience store in the small community of Warren in nearby Tyler County. Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford said deputies from his department were dispatched to Exxpress Mart in Warren shortly before 4:00 when it was reported that the teen was unresponsive and that emergency medical technicians on the scene were performing CPR. Weatherford said after being treated at the scene, the 16-year-old male was transported by ambulance to the Tyler County Hospital in Woodville where he was later pronounced dead. While investigating the incident, Weatherford said officers took 21-year-old Don Yeagin, of Warren, into custody and later charged him with Possession of Marijuana and, at last word, he was still being held at the Tyler County Jail under $1,000.00 bail. However, officers have not said whether or not he is a suspect in the death. The complete circumstances surrounding the death, the name of the deceased, and other information has not yet been released pending completion of an investigation into the incident.
