NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Authorities say one person has been arrested following an incident on Monday. At 9 p.m., Nacogdoches police stated that their officers had been dispatched to the 3200 block of North Street on Monday afternoon after receiving reports of a suspect displaying a gun during a robbery. On Monday night, they confirmed that one suspect has been taken into custody. According to a release from the Nacogdoches Police Department, SWAT went to an apartment in the 200 block of East Lakewood Street at about 6:30 p.m. on Monday in connection with a robbery that took place in the afternoon, and were working to discover if a suspect may be inside. Police stated that there is no continuing threat at those apartments. Further information will be released in the morning, police added. The investigation is ongoing.
