SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - A Sulphur couple is behind bars after they and their three young children tested positive for meth, deputies said.
Christopher Casey Romero, 36, and Veronica Kay Ancelet, 27, and three children under 6 tested positive for the drug, Calcasieu Parish deputies said. The Department of Children and Family Services removed the children from the home and contacted law enforcement Friday.
After further investigation, deputies arrested Romero and Ancelet Wednesday, each on three counts of cruelty to juveniles. Their bonds are set at $600,000.
