Sabine Parish Sheriff Aaron Mitchell and his deputies report several damaged homes and buildings in the Pleasant Hill Community. The damage was a result of thunderstorms from Tropical Storm Beryl. Additionally, there was a large natural gas leak at a well site which also occurred in the Pleasant Hill area. Sheriff Mitchell said there were numerous trees and power lines knocked down, but fortunately there were no reports of any injuries.
