A Shreveport man was still able to talk to police after being shot in the head Thursday night.
Police say the man told them he was at his home on Woodrow St. near Linwood Ave. when he heard a knock at the door at around 9:30 p.m.
The victim said when he answered the door, a man wearing camouflage clothing shot him. He did not give police any other details on what the shooter looked like.
Police say the man was talking to them and alert when they arrived to the scene. He injury is considered life threatening because of where he was hit. He was taken to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital for treatment.
