SHREVEPORT, La. -- Shreveport police have arrested a man in connection with an attempted carjacking that resulted in a man being shot.
Police and medics responded to 4650 Lakeshore Drive on the afternoon of June 7 after receiving a report from a man who said he was shot during an exchange of gunfire when a man tried to rob him. He was bleeding from his left arm.
Shortly afterward, Tidarius Reddix arrived at Willis-Knighton North suffering from a gunshot wound. Police learned Riddix had been dropped off at Nantucket Harbor earlier that morning. While there, he allegedly attempted to carjack the victim while armed with a semi-automatic pistol.
Tuesday morning, the Shreveport Police Department’s Warrants Unit took Reddix into custody. He has been charged with one count of carjacking.
