The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department has announced that a 78-year-old man has been arrested in relation to a child sex crime. Sheriff Kevin Windham says James Eddy Risinger, of Shelbyville, has been charged with Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child. Risinger is currently in the Shelby County Jail under a $500,000.00 bond. No details have been released about the alleged victim or the alleged crimes.
