Emergency officials in Silsbee were busy late Thursday morning dealing with a train derailment. It happened shortly after 10:00 on railroad tracks at Lee Miller Road in northwest Silsbee.
About a half-dozen train cars were off the tracks, including one that rolled onto its side.
There’s no word on what caused the derailment. Fortunately there were no injuries and no hazardous material was involved.
