Family, friends, and classmates held a sendoff Thursday morning for the Brookeland Lady Wildcats softball team as they headed to Austin to play in the 1-A State Championship game.
Brookeland will play Jonesboro on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at McComb Stadium at the University of Texas.
