Seven months after an arson fire destroyed an auto dealership in Vernon Parish, the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office has released security camera images of the suspect and they’re asking the public to help identify him. The blaze occurred at about 4:00 on the morning of November 18th, 2023, at Benoit Ford between DeRidder and Rosepine. Investigators say security camera images show the suspect to be a young male, about 6 feet tall, and he was wearing a hoody and “skinny jeans”. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Fire Marshal’s Office at 1-844-954-1221 or any local law enforcement agency. You do not have to give your name.
