The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department has made a second arrest in a case of multiple deer feeders that were stolen over the weekend in the south end of the county. Meanwhile, Sheriff Chuck Havard says a third arrest is coming soon.
The crime occurred early Sunday morning at a hunting lease off of County Road 826, commonly known as Gist Road.
On Tuesday deputies arrested the first suspect, 50-year-old Michael Hetzel, of Vidor.
On Wednesday the second suspect was arrested. She is 45-year-old Cheryle Denise Nelson, also from Vidor.
Hetzel and Nelson have both been charged with Theft and Criminal Trespassing.
