Remember the guy in Shelby County who was recently captured after multiple complaints of him driving dangerously in the remains of a Ford Mustang? Well, he's back in jail again and back in the news again. The Shelby County Sheriff's Department says new criminal charges have been leveled against zo- year-old Gary Smith, of San Augustine. This time he's charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Terroristic Threats. The department says Smith was captured by both the Shelby County and San Augustine County Sheriff's departments. Smith first made the news in late January when he was arrested following multiple complaints of him speeding and driving recklessly in a Ford Mustang that appeared to be held together with nothing more than tape, glue, and a prayer. In that case, Smith was charged with No Driver's License and Speeding, arid he was out of jail on bond when law enforcement alleges that he committed the latest crimes.
