The San Antonio Police Department has announced that they are searching for a car that may have been involved in the July 23rd shooting death of Ayden Rose Burt. The 28-year-old Jasper High School teacher and coach was at an official function of the Texas High School Coaches Association at the Smoke BBQ & Skybar just east of downtown San Antonio when a bullet hit her in the back.Burt was rushed to a hospital where she died a short time later. An image released by San Antonio Police shows the back end of a dark color car, but the image is grainy and it’s hard to make out any other details. Meanwhile, Crime Stoppers in San Antonio is offering a $5,000.00 reward for information that leads to the arrest of who fired the bullet that struck and killed Ayden Rose Burt. Ayden was the granddaughter of Jasper educator and coach Billy Burt and the daughter of former Jasper Junior High School principal David Burt. Her mother Honore Bailey and two brothers live in Bullard.
