MANY, La. - A Sabine Parish man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in her apartment Saturday morning. The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office said Marissa Freeman, 29, was found dead with numerous lacerations, bruises, and blunt force trauma to her head and face. Freeman was taken to Ochsner LSU Health Medical Center in Shreveport for an autopsy. David Dawson Grimes, 49, of Many was arrested and charged with second degree murder. No bond has been set at this time.
