MANY, La. -- A Sabine Parish man has been arrested in connection with an arson fire and domestic violence situation that happened in February.
Tony Mitchell, 35, was booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center on Wednesday on charges of aggravated arson, home invasion and battery of a dating partner (strangulation).
The investigation started on Feb. 16 after Central Sabine Fire District responded to a vehicle fire in the 500 block of Lee Street in Many. The fire spread to two additional vehicles parked nearby and also caused damage to the residence due to the vehicle being parked in close proximity.
Following an investigation, SFM investigators alleged the fire was intentionally set by Mitchell. Additional investigative work revealed the incident was connected to a domestic violence situation.https://www.ktbs.com/news/sabine-parish-man-arrested-for-arson-in-domestic-violence-situation/article_6e3cccff-058d-4ea3-b3d2-e6f4e6cb92b3.html
