A Sabine Parish inmate who's been on the run since earlier this month is back behind bars.
Sheriff Aaron Mitchell said deputies found Brandon James Corley in Florien early Tuesday morning and took him into custody without incident.
Corley escaped from the Sabine Parish Detention Center on Sept. 4 by taking advantage of damage to the property that was caused by Hurricane Laura.
Corley was arrested and booked on a warrant for simple escape and simple criminal damage to property.
