(Hemphill, Texas) On June 5, 2025, Deputies from the Sabine County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation on a vehicle which was headed North on State Highway 87. The vehicle stopped just before the Highway 87 and State Highway 21 intersection in Milam, Texas. The driver, identified as David Bragg (61 of Milam, Texas) was found to be driving with an invalid driver's license and had a previous conviction for the same violation. Bragg was arrested. During the vehicle inventory process conducted prior to having a vehicle towed, the Deputies located eleven (11) grams of methamphetamine (Meth) inside his tool box located in the bed of the truck. Bragg was booked into the Sabine County Jail for Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penal Group 1, along with the traffic violation. He is currently housed at the Sabine County Jail with a total of $10,000 dollars in surety bonds.
