RUSK COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A Houston man is in the Rusk County Jail after authorities charged him with the murder of a Houston woman. According to a report by Rusk County Sheriff Johnwayne Valdez, deputies responded to the area of State Highway 79 East and County Road 347 in the Chapman Community in reference to a death investigation. Valdez said that initial evidence led investigators to suspect that Christina Glenn, 27, of Houston, had been murdered. Valdez said investigators later identified Justin Roy Edwards, 33, of Houston, as a suspect and arrested him at the scene. Edwards has since been booked into the Rusk County Jail on a charge of murder with bond set at $1 million.
