RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB) - The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating an incident where a person was injured after allegedly jumping onto a vehicle. RPSO said at 6:43 p.m. on April 22, deputies received a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle near Fendler Parkway and LA 28 East. Upon arrival, RPSO said they determined there was a dispute between two people. According to witness reports, RPSO said one of the persons was driving a white SUV of unknown make as the other jumped on the hood. As the person driving the SUV was attempting to flee, the other one fell off the SUV, sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
