Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark says a Jasper woman underwent treatment following a rollover crash late Sunday morning. It occurred at about 11:00 on Highway 96 near County Road 303 in the Zion Hill Community. Sergeant Clark said 49-year-old Loretta Bean was driving a 2020 Mazda CX30 SUV southbound when she possibly suffered a sudden medical episode. Clark said the vehicle went off the highway, struck a mailbox, and then rolled over. Bean was transported by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital. Later, Jasper Police Captain Mike Poindexter said that officers had been looking for the vehicle and the woman after it was reported that she had struck mailboxes in Jasper.
